Christophe At The Filming Locations Of The Texas Chains Saw Massacre

Took a weekend trip down to Texas to see some of the filming locations for Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Here's a few photos.

First up is Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, TX. This is where the opening cemetery scenes from the original were shot.

Next up are some shots from the infamous Gas Station, which is now a destination for fans. Killer BBQ, Some cabins for sleeping, tons of horror merch to buy and host of a fun convention every year.

Also visited the original house. It has been moved to Kingsland, TX and is now known as the Grand Central Cafe. It has been decorated with a Railyard theme and you can even stay the night in a converted caboose across the street. Upstairs you will Grandpa waiting to greet you and a few pics from the film. In the back at the bar you will meet up with Leatherface and can see a small photo shrine as well as pick up some TCM merch.

I also visited The Bridge from the opening of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and The Mean Eyed Cat Bar which was the Cut Rite Chainsaws shop from part 2. They even had the shop scene playing on a constant loop at the bar.

Finally, I also stopped by the remake house in Granger, TX. Wasn't allowed on the property, but was still pretty cool.
